Step 1: Consultation

Once you’ve contacted CKS Projects about your custom-built home project in Austinmer, we ask you to complete a questionnaire to give as much information about the project as possible. Step 2: Planning & Design

You meet with Keiron and our designer to determine your design needs, expectations and the next steps to set the wheels in motion. Next, we work with you to create a concept plan, and then review and update it based on your feedback before giving you a quote.

Once you’ve approved a design that meets both your needs and budget, we improve and update it to a Building Approval level of detail. We also engage any other consultants, such as engineers and private certifiers, to help us prepare and lodge the plans for your custom home project with the council.

Step 3: Contract & Approvals

We’re an honest and transparent custom home building company that guarantees you’d know the exact cost of your contract. Rest assured there won’t be any hidden costs or surprise invoices along the way. Everything that we promise in your design and specifications will be clearly noted in your proposal. This way you know up front how much your project will cost.

Step 3: Construction

We’re a proactive team and we work best when there’s consistent communication so you know where your project stands and can provide feedback or raise any concerns. For example, during construction, you’ll get updates about the progress of your build and any changes or complications that arise. You’ll also get access to a client portal to check the progress 24/7, as well as budget updates including variations, progress payments, and the running and grand totals. Our construction team will also organise various meetings with you on-site during this phase.

Step 4: Handover

Before handing you the keys to your custom build in Austinmer, we make sure we’re delivering what we promised and at the highest quality possible. We walk you through and allow you to ask questions and give feedback. We make any alterations so you’re happy with our products and workmanship before handover. Step 5: Ongoing Support
