Building or renovating your dream home is an exciting time, our custom design and build process takes care of everything. We work with you to create a clever design that matches your needs and we fully manage your build ensuring your project is smooth and efficient experience.
According to the APB statistically 80% of building designs don't make it to construction, this is because an accurate estimate during design stages has not been done by a professional builder to assist in the project feasibility, this is why engaging a professional builder is critical.
Step 1
Consultation
After you first contact us at CKS Projects we will send you a new enquiry questionnaire to gather as much as possible information from you regarding your project as possible, to ensure we are a good fit for your project. After this information is received, a member of our team will contact you for a phone consultation, where we will discuss your project in further detail. If we feel we can assist you with your project, we will then organise a meeting either on-site or in our office. We’ll get you in for an initial consultation where we’ll discuss what your needs are, what functionalities you require and look through a range of modern or classical design ideas to see which fits best with your personality.
Step 2
Planning & Design
Following an initial consultation, you’ll meet with Keiron and our designer for a detailed meeting either on-site or in our office. From there we’ll be able to determine your needs, expectations and make recommendations for your next steps to set the wheels in motion. We’ll work with you to create a concept plan, review the feedback you give us and then update the plan before giving you a quote. When we have settled on a design that both meets your needs and budget, we can then update them to a Building Approval level of detail, as well as engage any other consultants that may be required including engineers and private certifiers to lodge plans to council.
Step 3
Contract & Approvals
Our honest and transparent approach means there are no hidden costs in your contract. Everything in your design and specifications will be included in your proposal. This way you have everything you need to make an informed decision which minimises any costs for adjustments.
Step 4
Construction
We believe in maintaining consistent communication, so you always know where your project stands. Throughout the construction phase, we keep you updated with the progress of your build and remain transparent with you regarding any changes or unprecedented complications that arise. You will be able to log in to your very own client portal to keep up to date with how your project is progressing. In this portal, you will be able to view budget updates including variations, progress payments, and of course the running and grand totals. Our construction team will also organise multiple meetings with you on-site throughout the process.
Step 5
Handover
You can put your mind at ease when you’re in our trusted hands. As reliable experienced builders, we’ll guide you through the process right up until handover. When we hand over the keys to you we make sure we only deliver high-quality outcomes whether it be for new builds or home renovations.
Step 6
Ongoing Support
Don’t worry, handover does not mean the end of our relationship, As professional builders, we are committed to you and our projects, Whether it extensions or new home builds, we provide a maintenance period following your construction work to address any issues they may arise once the dwelling has had time to settle and adjust.
